Kiss me, just kiss me! Kiss me, Nefertiti!
Grindr.

ben-fuller:

I have to get this off my chest. I see it over and over again: guys complaining about the guys on Grindr that just want sex. I have even heard that Grindr used to be somewhat “decent,” which is laughable in my opinion. There may have been a time when there were less users and receiving a random picture of a guy’s penis was less common, but Grindr was never meant to be “decent.” It’s called Grindr. It’s where gay, bi, or “bi-curious” guys can find someone to “grind” or experiment with. That’s it. If you are there for such, then that’s you! I’m not judging, but for those who screenshot, bitch, and share with social media how discouraged you are… I hate to say it, but you lack good judgement. Being pissed because a guy comes on too strong, is honest about what he is there for, or does not hide the fact he simply wants to have sex with you, on Grindr (or any other app like it), is like being pissed at an individual for requesting a beer at a bar. If you want a “real” relationship, and are tired of getting “discouraged,” then get off the damn app. It’s the 21st century. You do not need to depend on an app or any website to find a relationship. There are homosexuals everywhere. Gain some knowledge, invest more time in yourself, do you, go do what you love, and chances are you will come across someone who shares common ground. For those of who say it’s the only way for you too meet guys, you are most likely under 18, do not drive, are still in the coming out process, or are still in high school. You are under 18. You are not even supposed to have an account. Sadly Grindr does not have an age verification, and guys underage are taken advantage of. You are at a vulnerable age. You need time to discover yourself, mature, and create some boundaries. Speaking from experience, Grindr will make that difficult for you. For those who think I am totally wrong and Grindr is just being misused, there are books written by professionals that tell you how to use the app. Nearly each one defines Grindr as a “game,” and states that it is not the place to go to if you are looking for anything serious. Even in Grindr’s sample stills in the AppStore, show an example of what everyone is bitching about: headless torsos, planning to meet before having a decent conversation, so on. (Check it out). Overall, if you use the app for sex, great. If not, get off of it and stop bitching. 😊

Here’s some more:

  1. You interrupted me, I’m not finished talking
  2. You’re making me uncomfortable
  3. Leave me alone
  4. Don’t talk to me like that

1. You repeated my idea
2. You’re in my space
4. No, I won’t do that for you
5. I am aware of that

I only have one addition.

1. I don’t assume I know more about your work than you; I’d appreciate the same respect.

  1. I already knew how to do that.
  2. I don’t need to give you an explanation.
  3. No, you are wrong.

1. That’s disrespectful and I won’t be spoken to like that.
2. I’m not here for you.

“An Aussie man travelling through India was threatened with skinning, detained in a police station, and allegedly forced to write a letter of apology, all because he had a tattoo of the Hindu goddess Yellamma on his leg. Matthew Gordon, 21, and his girlfriend Emily Kassianou, 20, are one month into a six-month trip around India.

Last Saturday they were lunching at a popular restaurant in Bangalore when men sitting at another table began to photograph and video them. “When I asked them to stop, they confronted us about Matt’s leg, saying he should be skinned,” Emily told Indian newspaper Deccan Chronicle.

When they tried to leave the restaurant, the men - who were now joined by a police officer - were waiting outside.“The cop joined in with the politicians,” said Emily. “He said ‘This is India, have the tattoo removed’.” Deccan Chronicle reports that the complainant said they had simply asked Matt to wear jeans, and that Matt had responded with profanities, which is why the police were called. “

wow…it’s almost as though being white and getting a tattoo of something sacred to another culture, then attempting to enter that culture with said tattoo on display, might herald consequences……
